According to the Centers For Disease Control, the symptoms of swine flu virus are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people also have reported diarrhea and vomiting.
Swine flu, officially labeled H1N1, is a new flu virus of swine origin that first caused illness in Mexico and the United States in March and April, 2009. This flu has spread rapidly across the globe in the last few months and was declared an official pandemic on June 11 by the World Health Organization.

Causes of Swine Flu

Multiple new cases of a new strain of Swine flu (Swine Influenza A, H1N1) have been reported in Mexico and in the United States. Multiple deaths have been reported to the World Health Organization, currently assessing the accuracy of the incoming reports.
